Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban are set for a busy transfer window in January.

The Elliot Fund have given the directors of AC Milan the green light to spend money on a few experienced additions to the squad. Milan have only won three of their opening nine games this season and the individuals mistakes by players have been the major cause of the teams’ failures.

Italian media have reported that Boban and Maldini have reiterated multiple times in recent press conferences that Milan will not wait 10 years to rebuild as a direct comment to their owners. The duo want to be more decisive in the transfer window to buy impactful players as opposed to young players with potential upside for resale.

We should expect a few signings in January that add experience and calmness to the squad.

Suso will reportedly be targeted in January amid the protests by Milan fans over his poor performances and expect La Liga side Sevilla to offer a player plus cash deal to acquire the right winger.

Milan have set a €38 million release clause for Suso that currently is still applied to his current contract. Sevilla will reportedly offer their attacking midfielder Franco Vazquez.

The Argentina international is a creative force in the La Liga and has four goals and one assist so far this season. Last season he grabbed five goals and four assists.

Who should the Rossoneri aim to sign?
