Rossoneri Roundup 11-07-2020:

- Zlatan Ibrahimovic's explosive interview with Gazzetta dello Sport midweek still seems to be making headlines. Select quotes include the rather agreeable "Ibra is not a player for the Europa League and Milan are not a club who belong in the Europa League” and the inflammatory "Who is Rangnick? I don’t even know who he is".

- In light of these statements, it's looking increasingly likely that Ibra won't be staying on next season, especially with Rangnick at the helm. To remedy the striker situation, Calciomercato are reporting that the club have been in touch with Fali Ramadani, Ante Rebic's agent, to address a couple of issues. The first of which would be securing Rebic on a permanent basis after his exploits this season. The second is to try and secure the signing of Luka Jovic from Real Madrid, who the agent represents.

- Despite his solid performances this season, the club are inexplicably stalling on the option to permanently sign Simon Kjaer for €2.5-3.5m. This seems to be baffling for most fans, given that the Dane has partnered very well with Alessio Romagnoli.

- In mercato news, we've been linked by multiple sources with Celtic's Norwegian CB Kristoffer Ajer (pictured), with the Hoops' asking price being £20m. Rumours connecting us to Dominik Szoboszlai are still strong, with the player's father reportedly sharing an article about the potential move to Milan on his Facebook profile.
