Updated: Nov 24, 2020

Another 3 points in the bag after winning another hard-fought match against Roma. Under the management's watch, at the Vismara, the Rossonere managed a 1-0 win to Roma thanks to a penalty scored by Valentina Giacinti in the 70th minute. A tough 3 points, but truly necessary for the journey of the Rossonere. This victory allows the Rossoneri to remain second in the league, at 21 points, retaining their place in the Champions League zone at -3 points from leaders Juve.

The debut in the Italian Cup for Maurizio Ganz's Rossonere was positive. A 0-2 victory came in at Cesena on the second day of Group F (Milan rested in the first round), goals scored by Spinelli and as usual, Giacinti. This secured three significant points and allowed a few players to rest as the coach made several changes to the usual first 11.

The Rossonere’s next match will be happening on the 5th of December against Fiorentina Femminile. The Viola are currently occupying the 5th place, 8 points less than the Rossonere. One to watch out for is Daniela Sabatino, who is the current top goal scorer for the Serie A Femminile with 8 goals to her tally.
