Youth Update - 14/12/20
Milan Primavera star Alessio Brambilla has fractured the metacarpal of his left hand. The incident occurred during a training session last Tuesday in Milan. Whilst the club has remained tight lipped over recovery times for the injury, Brambilla underwent a successful surgery last Saturday.
Brambilla is one of the exciting prospects of the Milan youth system at the moment. The ambitious 19 year old is a deep-lying central midfielder that likes to control play out of the teams defensive lines. He is quickly establishing himself as an important player in Frederico Giunti's Primavera 1 lineup.
Unfortunately, the Italian youth leagues have been forced to postpone games due to the uncertainty and risk caused by COVID-19. It is unclear whether or not the season will eventually take place with the FIGC insisting that it is still too risky to open the season. This leaves youth players around Italy limited to training sessions and intra-club matches for the time being.
