Player Ratings - Milan vs Crotone

Donnarumma – 7: Sent a message out to opposition players that you should never get in his way after his clash with Simy. Crotone did little to challenge him all game. Solid and calm when needed.

Calabria – 7.5: Strong defensively and provided opportunities going forward. Making this position his own.

Kjaer – 7: Reliable game as always. Proved too strong for Crotone when challenged.

Gabbia – 7: He’s really growing into the role. He’s building some confidence in the role and forming a nice partnership with Kjaer.

Hernandez – 8: Showed us some of his classic burst again, poking holes through the Crotone midfield and defence. Also demonstrated some strong defensive plays. What a ball that was to Rebic!

Kessie – 8: Overpowered Crotone, often muscling his way out of plays. Really controlled the game for us with his composure. Can you make penalties look easier to take?

Tonali – 6.5: Still settling into the new environment at Milan but is beginning to show the quality that we saw at Brescia. Always looking to break the play open with his vision and passing. Expect him to grow off this performance.

Calhanoglu – 7: Again, proved why Zlatan refers to him as a “real Milan Number 10.” Was the one behind the setup for Diaz’s goal

Saelemaekers – 6: Nothing overly special from the Belgian. Was in and around most attacking plays.

Diaz – 7: He is definitely keen to get on the ball and get things done. Right place at the right time for his goal, but whose complaining?

Rebic – 6: Didn’t look overly comfortable as our lone striker, although did win the penalty for Kessie. Came off after 55 minutes after a shoulder injury.

Colombo – 5: Came on after we’d sealed the game off so didn’t have much to work with.

Leao – 6.5: Really good run late in the game. Looked hungry for more game time.

Castellejo – 5: Struggled to find his feet in the game.

Bennacer – 6: Added a bit of energy into our midfield late in the game.

Krunic – 5.5: Come on late.
