Player Ratings: Milan 1-1 Napoli

Donnarumma: 6.5 A safe pair of hands throughout the match. Not much he could've done on Napoli's goal. Conti: 6 Pretty stable defensive performance, but lacked spark he showed against Juve going forward. Mussachio: 6.5 Solid all-round performance. Made a crucial tackle to deny Lozano going clear on goal. Romagnoli: 6 Il Capitano's lukewarm season continues. Nothing terribly wrong about his performance, but wasn't as sharp as we've gotten used to and misplaced a few passes going forward. Hernandez: 5 Kept Lozano onside for the opener. Although assertive going forward, his defending is often suspect. Makes you wonder if he'd be a better fit at LW. Biglia: 4.5 Suffered after being thrown into the fray on account of Bennacer's suspension. Perhaps owing to fatigue, was overwhelmed by Napoli in the 2nd half. Krunic: 6.5 A consistent performer in the middle of the park. Nothing too spectacular, but pretty consistent. Paqueta: 5 Provided some interesting flicks, but gave the ball away frequently. Another player you feel is playing slightly out of position; seems to play further up the pitch for Brazil. Bonaventura: 7 Some glimpses of the Jack of old, and a great strike to level the match. You could tell his legs had gone towards the end of the second half, but the grinta and guile remained. Rebic: 4.5 Unfortunate to get injured early on in his first start. Would be easy to say he's failed at Milan, but the truth is he hasn't had a fair chance to prove himself. Piątek: 4 Poor performance from the Polish striker. Seems to be lacking confidence this season. Finishing was suboptimal and failed to pass to colleagues in bettter positions a few times. Subs: Kessie: 6 His end product wasn't ideal, but put in a solid shift as regista after Biglia came off. Calabria: 6.5 Came on as a RW/RM and revitalised the right flank. An interesting tactical substitution by Pioli. Leao: N/A, but needs to cut down on the backheels and use his electrfying pace more when games are this tightly balanced.
