Pioli Sees Potential in Pobega

Youth Update - 17/8/20

La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Milan has rejected offers from Hellas Verona and Sassuolo for young gun midfielder Tommaso Pobega. This comes after Pobega's well documented break out year at Serie B side Pordenone.

The Pioli management is showing interest in the young box-to-box midfielder and see him in their plans for next season. Pioli hinted that he wanted more midfield depth after Milan's Cagliari win, stating that the midfield "cannot be made up of only two starters, but four starters".

With rumors only growing of a Bakayoko return, will Pobega be the fourth midfielder that joins Kessie and Bennacer in Milan's midfield next season?
