Milan Keen for Pobega Return

Youth Update 20/7/20

Reporter Gianluca DiMarzio has stated that Milan will likely exercise the buyback clause in order to see promising youngster Tommaso Pobega (pictured) return from Pordenone. Pobega has impressed during his time at the Serie B side, collecting 28 appearances and 5 goals throughout the season.

It is expected that his new contract with Milan will last until 2022, fending off competition from Torino and Atalanta.

Additionally, reports out of Portugal claim that Milan's chief scout Geoffrey Moncada is monitoring the countries youth stock closely. In particular, Portuguese sports newspaper 'A Bola' are reporting that Moncada is interested in Sporting Lisbon's Vasco Gaspar. Gaspar is currently Sporting's U17 teams goalkeeper.

A move on another young goalkeeper is interesting considering the age of current first team star keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (21) and promising youth player Alessandro Plizzari (20) who is currently out on loan at Livorno.
