The unbeaten run in the league remains untouched as we have are now undefeated in over 20 league appearances, however the month had a somewhat sour start as our overall unbeaten streak was dismantled as we were beaten 3-0 by Lille in the Europa League in a match that is best left unspoken about. Instead we rather discuss the good times that is the Serie A season so far. November started with a 2-1 win away at Udinese in a game that was a bit closer than it should have been & if not for Zlatan we may have walked away with only 1 point. This match was followed by a 2-2 draw with Hellas Verona which was bittersweet as we did come back from a 2-0 deficit (Again thanks to Zlatan in the 93rd), however i think all fans of Milan would agree we had many opportunities to take all 3 points here, which shows the sort of club we are becoming again, one that doesn’t celebrate unless all 3 points are taken. Whilst it is a pain for us, the International break came at a good time to give some players a bit of a rest as we have had a hectic schedule with no signs of it slowing down so it was good for the boys to get a bit of a refresh & it showed with our first game back being an emphatic 3-1 win over Napoli in a top of the table clash, however a sour note of this match was seeing Ibrahimovic hobble off with what turned out to be an injury that will sideline him for likely 3 weeks. With No Ibra leading our line questions were asked on our offence for the match against Fiorentina & they were answered very early with a dominant first half display that led to a 2-0 lead at half time in which we also had a missed penalty. The game ending 2-0 after we took the foot off a bit in the 2nd half.

Legend of the month - Diego Maradona
Although Diego Maradona didn’t wear the Milan Jersey, it only feels right to show our respect in honouring him as this months ‘Legend of the Month’.
He did so much as a footballer including winning the World Cup for Argentina & a lot of accolades at many clubs, but we will focus on his time in the Serie A.
Maradona arrived at Napoli in 1984 in a surprising move as he was a world class star & Napoli had just managed to survive relegation. It was here he reached the prime of his career & announced Napoli on the big stage. In the 1986-1987 season Maradona delivered Napoli their first ever Scudetto and then again delivered them another title in the 1989-1990 season with two runner up finishes in between. He also led them to many other trophies including a Coppa Italia.
Both Franco Baresi & Paolo Maldini have stated that Maradona was their toughest opponent which is a huge feat coming from the two greatest defenders to ever play the game!
Diego Maradona helped the Italian League maintain its spot as the best league in the world throughout the 80’s and ensured that the best of the best were still wanting to play in the Serie A.
There is not many players who can be compared with Diego Maradona, he truly is one of the greatest players to ever play the beautiful game & he will be missed by the entire football community.
Rest In Peace Diego.
