Is Paqueta the missing piece of Milan's puzzle?

Lucas Paqueta landed in Milan to complete his €35m tranfer. It's obvious that the Rossoneri lack creativity and supply to our strikers. It's been an issue for the last few season's, and the brazilian could be the answer should he succeed.

The 21-year-old trequartista arrived from Rio de Janeiro, via Lisbon, at Malpensa Airport last week.

“I am very happy to be here. I came to Milan for its history,” Paqueta told reporters. “I’ll wear the shirt number 39,” the Brazilian starlet said.

“I had luck with it and I hope the same will happen in Milan. I chose the Rossoneri because of Leonardo, he called me and convinced me immediately.

“I know AC Milan have a serious project for my career and that’s a vital step for a young player that arrives in Europe. I am looking forward to beginning.”

Paquetá wore the number 39 during the beginning of his professional days at Flamengo before switching to 29 and 16. The Brazilian has worn the number 11 for the last two seasons.

The Rossoneri have agreed to pay Flamengo €35m plus up to another €10m in performance-related bonuses.

Paqueta could make his debut in January’s Italian Super Cup clash with Juventus.
