Colombo Commits to 2024

Up and coming youth player Lorenzo Colombo has signed a contract extension with Milan until 2024. The decision was announced via the clubs twitter account on June 26.

Colombo is well regarded in Milan by his peers and coaches after coming back strongly from a metatarsal fracture which left him on the sidelines for 3 months at the start of the season.

Making his return from injury in the Primavera teams clash against Cittadella on the 1st of February this year, Colombo surprised many by scoring a hat-trick. He went on to score 4 goals in the following 4 matches, leading to his promotion to the first team for the Coppa Italia semi-final game against Juve.

Whilst Milan may be lacking depth up front in the senior team, youth forward stocks are plentiful with Colombo, Maldini and Tsadjout looking to burst through.
