April in Melbourne - and what's ahead?
This month has been huge for our club! We have hosted 2 major events - an 8:30PM game against Parma and an evening with Daniele Massaro.
PARMA GAME: Unfortunately we didn't come away with a win, but it was awesome to see close to 50 Milanisti in a single room - on the other side of the world from where the game was being played. I don't think there's many other fan clubs that can boast those figures - especially Inter and Juve! Unfortunately we can't control the results on the pitch, but we can do our part to create the best community of Milan fans in Melbourne. Nonetheless, the season is coming to an exciting finish, and - fingers crossed - with all going well we may just be making a return to the Champions League next season. It appears unlikely that we will host another game this season - due to less than ideal kick-off times ahead - however it will be great to see many of you next time we host an event.
DANIELE MASSARO DINNER: WHAT A NIGHT!
On Friday we had the pleasure of sharing the company of Daniele Massaro with our members at 400 Gradi. We hope you enjoyed the night.
It is so amazing to think, that after not even existing as a club almost 18 months ago, we were able to host such a legend of the game and club. We'd like to say a big thank-you to everyone who helped it happen!
If you have any photos worth sharing, be sure to send them to us - and we will post what we have in the coming days.
MELBOURNE ITALIAN FAN CLUBS CUP: We have received many questions regarding this event in recent weeks. Following last years successful event, we are happy to say that we plan on hosting this event again. We will release further information closer to the event - following discussions with the other fan clubs - when the season is over - but in the meantime let us know if you are interested in playing for our team/s. If you have any feedback on last year's event or if you have any suggestions to help the smooth-running of the day (i.e. time of day, venue and day of week) let us know!
Remember - our club is for you! All merchandise sales, and membership fees are directly pumped back into the club to ensure we can continue to both grow and serve match-day events. Feel free to email us to let us know how we're going and if you'd like to see us try something new.
